About Us

Banda Group International, LLC (BGI) was founded on the principles of safety and health. Our founder and President, Zeferino Banda, Jr. is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). BGI has expanded our services over the years and currently provides environmental, safety, and health services; environmental remediation and characterization; and construction oversight and management services to a wide range of clients.  Keeping workers safe and ensuring overall project safety is at the core of our business.  BGI staff work closely with our clients to establish strong working relationships and deliver project success.  

BGI is a minority business enterprise (MBE), small disadvantaged business (SDB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with an approved Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) determination. BGI is a certified MBE through the National Minority Supplier Development Agency, a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) through the City of Phoenix, AZ, a Community Enterprise for the County of Los Angeles, CA, and a certified SBE for the Department of Transportation through the City of Houston, TX.

Founded in 2003, BGI has developed into an international company completing projects across the United States and in diverse international locations such as Algeria, Australia, Chile, China, Ireland, Israel, Laos, Mexico, South Korea, Romania, and Venezuela. BGI has received numerous awards for Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) support including minority supplier awards from major private sector corporations and government agencies. Today, BGI is approximately 150 employees strong.  BGI provides solutions to complex problems and works closely with our clients to ensure satisfaction.  

BGI is headquartered in Chandler, AZ with regional directors in branch offices in Albuquerque, NM and Oak Ridge, TN. BGI also has executives overseas in countries such as South Korea and Australia. The following are BGI’s international subsidiaries:
