BGI renovated exterior flashing and the HVAC system for the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) Los Alamos Field Office, Building 1410 located in Los Alamos, NM. BGI installed a replacement cover and cap with backer board and replacement veneer to the exterior flashing of the building and painted approximately 1,757 linear feet of passageways 8 feet in height and patched and repaired any damage prior to painting. The HVAC improvements included the replacement or repair of approximately fifty-eight (58) UBY Y-Strainer Combination Ball Valve units in the HVAC hot water heat piping in the building. Work included draining the system and recharge of the chemical balance with appropriate commercial (industry) inhibitors. BGI brought the HVAC system back to full service.
