Construction and Commissioning Thermal Energy Plant

BGI provided EHS program management for the construction and commissioning of one of the largest thermal energy plants in the United States. Some of the specific programs that BGI oversaw included safety, LOTO, security, management of construction safety representatives, first-aid, audits, incident investigations, emergency preparedness, new contractor orientation and management of the drug and alcohol program.
In addition, BGI reported daily, weekly and monthly status reports on the above to the client. Our technical support included meeting regular with federal, state and local authorities to ensure compliance with all regulatory laws, as well as meeting with project management on day-to-day operational commitments.
