Wind Turbines Construction and Commissioning
BGI oversees all aspects of the EHS program management in the construction of wind towers in several locations across the United States and abroad for a renowned American multinational conglomerate corporation. BGI’s program management team develops, implements and manages the site specific EHS program from pre-construction activities to commissioning, construction sub-contractors and commissioning engineers are directly monitored for adherence to all federal, state and local applicable regulations. BGI provides compliance support services by ensuring that the entire worksite observes chemical/waste handling/storage, spill response/remediation, endangered species, soil resource protection for marshes and fluvial ways, site reclamation activities once project is completed.
Additionally, BGI is directly involved in activities that include but are not limited to:
- Site oversight and auditing
- Development and implementation of LOTO program for all towers and substations
- Site EHS orientation
- Communicating best practices and trend analysis
- Preplanning meetings and JHA development
BGI continues to provide services for this customer and completed projects in California, Illinois, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Missouri, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, West Virginia, and Wyoming, as well as internationally in Mexico and Romania.
